CONVENTION REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

No registration fee for the 2018 Georgia FFA Alumni State Leaders Conference.

Onsite Registration will be available at the Business Counter in the Rotunda of the Marriott Convention Center.

THURSDAY, April 26th

 

1: 00 PM - 5:00 PM – Set-Up/Drop-Off Your Contributions to the FFA Alumni in the Rotunda

Deliver silent auction items, FFA Alumni display boards, Alumni/Chapter baskets to the FFA Alumni section of the Rotunda

1: 00 PM - 5:00 PM – Harvest for America Food Drive – FFA Chapters turn in verification forms in the Rotunda

 

FRIDAY, April 27th - Attire: Business Casual

9:00 AM – 6:00 PM - Silent Auction Open

 

9:00 AM – 9:30 PM – Onsite Conference Registration at the Rotunda Business Office. Those pre-registered pick up conference materials and name badges.

 

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Workshop A: FFA Alumni Sharing Session. Centreplex Room 308

Learn from others while sharing what makes your local FFA Alumni affiliate successful. Gather ideas from others to implement back in your local affiliate which will create excitement and enhance the experiences of your local FFA Alumni.

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Workshop B: FFA Alumni Membership Roster Training. Centreplex Room 308

Is the Ag Teacher submitting your Alumni roster? Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to utilize the system as an FFA Alumni member, submit your affiliate’s membership roster and manage your affiliate’s information!

 

12:00 – 1:00 pm – Break for Lunch on your own

 

1:00 pm – 3:00 PM – Georgia FFA Alumni Business Meeting. Centreplex Room 308

Join us and participate in conducting the business of the state association. Our State Bylaws allow each Alumni Chapter to provide two voting delegates to help elect Council members as well as vote on any Alumni business. We will also present the $500 awards for winning baskets and awards program.

6:00 PM – Georgia FFA Alumni Silent Auction Closes. Payment and pickup in rotunda from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.


T Shirt Design Contest      
If you have talented students who are interested, please have them submit a design. Please check the Georgia FFA Alumni T Shirt Design Contest flyer for rules and information.  All designs are due December 1st!

Food Drive      
The purpose of the Georgia FFA Alumni Canned Food Drive Contest is to collect food and have that food remain in the local community where it can benefit local community members.  Sonoraville High School won the 2015 & 2016 Georgia FFA Alumni Food drive and was awarded a check for $500. Remember that all of the food you collect stays in your own community and all you bring to convention is the documentation.  Please see Food Drive Contest Rules and Entry form for more information.
